The good portion

Jesus, how much I want hear You say, 

Which will not be taken away from her''. 

 I want to sit at Your feet in quietness, 

To listen to Your Words with a great delight, 

To enjoy Your presence with a great reverence, 

I want to talk with You, admire Your Word's light. 

How sweet is to think that this blessedness

Will not be taken away from me, 

How wonderful for me is Your holy presence, 

What a consolation brings It to me!

 I forget all my cares, 

When You remind me what is my only need, 

My sadness disappears,

 When You assure me of Your presence. 

 Mary of Bethany had chosen the good portion,
